2005 to 2006

So the day before yesterday we had the New Year celebration according to the Julean calendar, and this is it. The tree is still standing and blinking all colours, but the celebrations are over. The full working week waits ahead, as well as the promised frosts of -30 degrees Celcius. Woohoo.
Speaking about the past year of 2005, it was not a very easy one, but still an interesting one. Twice, I've been to a hospital, and one of these times was pretty serious, but I seem to have recovered by now. I visited 5 countries and I wish I would have finished my galleries of them at http://mikhail.fotopic.net/ for all to see. I made a few pleasant acquaintances, and, sadly, I lost some too; I heard quite a lot of great music, spent a lot of money etc, etc.
So that year is over. Let's face what 2006 brings. I wish good luck to everyone.

Wonderful autumn in Moscow

This year, the weather in Moscow is just incredible, mostly. From the beginning of July, and through August and September, the weather is just the best one could wish for our zone. Warm, sunny, clear and very very nice, with very little cold, wind or rain.
Now we have what we call "Golden Autumn", but the weather is still the nicest. Last Sunday we took a walk near the Kremlin and I just couldn't refrain from trying to make some pictures, in attempt to preserve this time, for better recollections in the future. Below are the two exaples of these photos, linked to more of the like.
It was such a beautiful day.
